There may not have been any hot dogs eaten or votes cast on chili in 2020, but our employees successfully raised $1.45 million for United Way. While our team pivoted for the pandemic, the campaign was virtually transformed so we could still make a major impact in our communities. Special thank you to all the United Way Ambassadors, leaders and teams for engaging and uplifting this year’s campaign in a completely virtual environment.

The core of DTE Energy’s business is about serving people, and this campaign proved that we have employees and leaders who believe in our work and the philanthropic commitments we’ve made in our communities to help our customers. Our partnership with United Way is vital to our customers, and because of our hard work and generosity, DTE is one of their leading corporate partners in the region.
