Customers in Walled Lake will be pleased to learn that the electric system in their area has been strengthened this week thanks to more tree trim crews. The job pictured below was at the corner of Richardson and Martin. Our team safely and efficiently removed overgrown branches to create more clearance from main powerlines. Tree trim crews have been working through the current year at an accelerated rate across our service territory as part of DTE’s $90 million initiative.
You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short- and long-term.
