Tree crews have continued their intensified efforts throughout Oakland County and were again seen working recently in West Bloomfield. Some of the work pictured was done near the corner of Detroit Blvd. and Lake Point Rd. Other work seen was done nearby at the corner of Glascott and Crestmore. Our team carefully and safely removed overgrown tree limbs off DTE mainlines in the backyards of customers.
DTE has made a $90 million investment to accelerate tree trimming efforts, like this job, across the communities it serves, helping prevent outages during heavy storms.
If trees are creating a safety hazard near your home, please report it to DTE here. We prioritize safety concerns based on the severity of the hazard.
You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short- and long term.
Make sure to regularly check the West Bloomfield community page to learn more about what’s going on in your neighborhood. You can also follow DTE on Facebook and Twitter for even more updates and information.
