DTE has been increasing tree trimming efforts across our service territory in 2022 and this week, crews could be seen working in Auburn Hills. Tree trim crews worked at the corner N. Shimmons Cir. and N. Squirrel Rd. Arborists safely and efficiently removed overgrown branches to create more clearance off mainlines. This type of work will strengthen the electric system for customers in this area the next time extreme weather strikes.
You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short- and long-term.
