Good news Inkster customers: DTE dispatched tree trim crews throughout your community this week to improve your reliability. One of those locations of this work was near the corner of Avondale and Blackstone across from Westwood Park. Our crews carefully and safely removed overgrown branches off mainlines that run along Avondale. Tree trimming is one of the most timely and cost-effective ways to improve the grid for you. This work will improve reliability for hundreds of customers in this area.
You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short and long-term.
