“The DTE Foundation is proud to support the causes that our retirees care about, whether it’s through their volunteer time or their dollars supporting arts, education or human service organizations. We value their service to our company and their commitment to serving their communities as a DTE retiree and a Force for Good where they live,” said Lynette Dowler, VP of Public Affairs, DTE Energy and President of the Foundation.

In addition to McCarthy grants, alumni will receive branded rewards as a special thank you for their service from the DTE Alumni Network team. View the 2020 alumni volunteer rewards program flyer and the McCarthy Grant page here

Education and Culture

The DTE Energy Foundation is dedicated to supporting programs that strengthen the fabric of our communities by developing the potential of their residents, institutions and infrastructure. This support includes educational and cultural organizations that play an important role in improving the quality of life in the communities we serve. These vital organizations depend on voluntary financial donations. Because of this, the DTE Energy Foundation encourages

Retires to contribute to these groups and demonstrates its support by matching personal financial gifts. Click this link for the matching gifts form

Holiday Matching Gifts Program will launch on Dec 1

DTE Energy retirees can support food banks, shelters and related human service organizations that provide relief for needy families in Michigan by making a taxdeductible contribution via this program. The DTE Energy Foundation will match eligible donations of between $10 and $1,000 on a dollar-for-dollar basis, until matching funds are exhausted. Each contribution must be a minimum of $10, and the per-donor maximum is $1,000. Contributions received by Thursday, Dec. 31 will be used to support eligible 501(c)(3) public charities across the DTE Energy service area. Contribute by credit card through the website, developed in partnership with the CFSEM, which manages the program for the DTE Energy Foundation. To be eligible for matching funds, you MUST make your gift online. NO paper forms will be accepted. Click here to give.
