Our DTE crews were working to improve reliability throughout Oakland County this week, one of those places being Bloomfield Hills. This particular job was near the corner of Vaughan Road and Guilford Road just south of West Long Lake Road. Our team replaced a weathered, damaged pole with a more durable one, outfitted with new connectors, fuses, cabling and transformer. Our team also trimmed back a few overgrown limbs on location to help ensure that this upgraded equipment can better withstand inclement weather for the foreseeable future.
You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short and long term.
