The horrific events that took place in Oxford Schools have sent rippling waves of sorrow through our communities. We know it’s been a challenging time for parents and students alike. No child should be afraid to go to school, and no parent should fear for their child’s safety at school.

We thank the heroic students, staff and first responders for their brave actions. Our hearts go out to those in the community grappling with the after math.

Together, we are Oxford Strong.

There are so many tools to help and heal, together. The DTE Foundation is helping students, parents, faculty and the community heal through a series of grants and programming:

  • The Foundation will provide $20,000 for a new endowment fund, the Oxford Community Fund, to support student well-being. This fund will serve as a long-term resource for any need/organization that works to address student well-being as needs will evolve and arise while the community heals.
  • Finally, Foundation will also provide a $10,000 grant directly to the school district for immediate needs to help with hope, healing and well-being.
  • For community members wishing to get involved, donate today directly to Oxford Community Schools.
