Every day DTE team members put themselves on the line to power our lives, offices and neighborhoods across our service territory. DTE is committed to improving electric reliability and we have started to accelerate infrastructure work across Southeast Michigan. Our company aspires not only to be the best in the world, but the best for the world.

One way we accomplish this is through our dedication to the communities where we live and serve, through initiatives like the North End Neighborhood Program. Near DTE’s Caniff and Trombly Service Centers, the North End neighborhood is located between Woodward Avenue and I-75. Since the inception of the North End Neighborhood Program in 2017.

“The program’s goal is to encourage collaborative engagement in the community, to demonstrate our commitment to reliability and to create positive relationships with our customers,” said Ryan Stowe, VP of Distribution Operations and Executive Champion of the North End Neighborhood program.

Recently our company co-hosted a community event in Detroit’s North End called “Winter Wonderland” with several community partners. The event safely celebrated the holiday spirit while also engaging residents and customers around DTE’s commitment to reliable service, our tree trim efforts and our focus on community vitality. The event featured giveaways, food, customized North End ornaments, music and lots of holiday fellowship

“We’re working to help residents build strong communities on their own terms while also sharing DTE’s goals around safe and reliable energy,” said Chris Polk, senior program manager in Public Affairs. “This work creates meaningful change in communities, which allows us to continue to directly serve our customers and create meaningful relationships with them.”
