Families in Wexford County are finding stability and hope thanks to the work of Love Inc., which helps neighbors in need with food, clothing and essential household supplies. With support from the DTE Energy Foundation and DTE Energy, Love Inc. is able to expand its reach, keeping its food pantry stocked and connect the community to programs that ease financial stress.
“We could not have our food pantry without the DTE Energy Foundation’s support,” said Rachel Reinink, Executive Director of Love Inc. “Their commitment goes beyond funding, it gives families a path to stability.”
For nearly 35 years, Love Inc. has been a lifeline in the community, serving nearly 9,000 people each year. Today, Love Inc. operates the only food pantry in Cadillac open five days a week, providing food, clothing and household essentials while supporting families facing utility and housing challenges.
“With DTE Energy Foundation’s resources and DTE’s hands-on team member support for utility challenges in our communities, Love Inc. can meet urgent needs and help families build a stronger future,” said Reinink. “Through the power of community partnerships like this, we are changing lives in Wexford County every day.”
