Where do you turn when you have to start your life all over again? Katherine Stokes unexpectedly lost her husband and needed help. Not knowing where to start, she reached out to United Way for support. Not only was she connected to a kind listener, she learned how to cope with her grief, manage her finances, and ultimately landed a much-needed job as a community care advocate at United Way of Southeastern Michigan.
