Help is available to our customers impacted by last weekend’s flooding and the power outages caused by the severe weather that swept through southeast Michigan.  

Our team will continue to work alongside our community and government partners to create access to resources that provide relief to affected customers. We’ll share more information about these efforts as it becomes available.  

 Here are some of the agencies standing by to provide relief and assistance now:  

 Cleanup

United Way: Call 211 for cleanup assistance.  

City of Detroit Water and Sewage Department: Detroit seniors and residents with disabilities in need can call 313-267-8000 to make an appointment. All residents can call the same number to report property loss and damage.  

 Food and hygiene 

Crossroads of Michigan (Detroit): Call 313-831-2000 to make a next-day appointment to pick up food, hygiene supplies and baby items. Toilet paper also is available.   

 Clothing and showers 

Capuchin Services Center (Detroit): Call 313-925-0514 to make an appointment to pick up clean clothing. 

Pope Francis Center (Detroit): Call 313-964-2823 to make an appointment to take a warm shower.
