DTE is dedicated to brightening the lives of communities throughout Michigan – including during the holiday season.
This year, DTE employees took their festive spirit on the road, transforming utility service trucks into displays of holiday cheer. Covered with hundreds of lights and decorations, these trucks traveled far and wide to spread joy to families and community members.

Ronald McDonald House Charities and C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital:
The night was filled with holiday cheer as DTE’s decorated trucks visited the Ronald McDonald House and C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital. Special guests like Louie the Lightning Bug, princesses and superheroes visited with children and families. Later in the evening, attendees waved glow wands to the kids inside Mott Children’s Hospital for the “Little Victor Wave.”
Woodhaven:
The trucks headed downriver to Woodhaven for a holiday parade and seasonal festivities.
Fellowship Chapel in Detroit:
The team visited the long-time community partner Fellowship Chapel in Detroit.
Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit:
DTE and Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit teamed up to provide families with a festive night filled with holiday lights, giveaways, hot chocolate and treats.
Ida Parade of Lights:
DTE team members helped ring in the holiday in the heart of Monroe County at the annual Christmas in Ida Festival and Parade of Lights.
Moon Beams at Royal Oak Beaumont Hospital:
Teams helped the hospital celebrate the holiday season with children and families for its annual Moon Beams for Sweet Dreams event.
