Our crews were hard at work over the last several days performing overhead grid upgrades in downtown Ann Arbor along Kingsley Street and Division Street. These upgrades were part of a reconductoring project that included new equipment and sturdier crossarms on the utility poles in alleys that go run alongside Division Street and then going north in the alley along Kingsley. We also had tree trimming crews working to improve the electrical reliability of these upgrades.
You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short- and long-term.
