Our overhead crews were back at work improving reliability in Oakland County, this time in Bloomfield Twp. Our team upgraded the system near the corner of Kendry Ct. and W. Square Lake Rd. by replacing old, weathered utility poles with three new ones plus additional new equipment including a higher voltage transformer, cabling, connectors and fiberglass crossarms.
Reliability work like this is happening now throughout Oakland County and our wider service territory as part of DTE’s $1.3 billion investment to upgrade our electric infrastructure.
You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short and long term.
