Good news for DTE customers in Troy as our crews were in your community this week improving reliability at a busy intersection. This work was done at the corner of Coolidge Hwy and E. Maple on the southeast corner of the intersection. Our team replaced an old utility pole with a taller, sturdier one and moved it farther from the road so the turning lane can be widened in the near future. In addition to upgrading the actual pole, our team took the opportunity to install new connectors, fuses and fiberglass crossarms. Work like this will improve reliability for the many customers and businesses in the Troy area.
You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short- and long-term.
