If you were one of the many shoppers visiting Twelve Oaks Mall in Novi earlier this week, you may have noticed a few DTE trucks in the parking lot near the famed water tower and Chik-fil-A entrance. This is because our crews were putting in some underground lines to help improve our electrical grid and reliability. It’s one of many projects we’re working on in the Novi and Farmington areas to ensure our customers have access to the safe, affordable and reliable power they need.
You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short- and long-term.
