DTE crews were out in Midtown recently upgrading the electric grid. Our team installed a new cable to two netbanks on Cass Avenue and Handcock Street. As energy use evolves over time, this additional cable will help balance out the circuit’s load distribution, reducing outages and keeping power flowing for nearby homes and businesses.
You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short and long term.
