Our overhead crews were busy this week in West Bloomfield upgrading two utility poles in a neighborhood near Upper Straits Lake. The work was done on Arrowhead Road just south of Pontiac Trail. Our team upgraded a transformer on one pole and completely replaced another, equipping it with new cabling, connectors, and fuses. This work will strengthen the grid for DTE customers in this area.
You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short and long term.
