Our overhead crews worked to improve reliability across our service territory this week, one of those places being in Hartland. The work pictured below was done just south of Clyde Road near the corner of Hibner and Arlen. Our team installed four new utility poles complete with new connectors, cabling, fuses and a transformer. This work will strengthen the grid for customers along Hibner.
Reliability work is happening now throughout our service territory as part of DTE’s $1.3 billion annual investment to upgrade our electric infrastructure.
You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short and long term.
Make sure to regularly check the Livingston County community page to learn more about what’s going on in your neighborhood. You can also follow DTE on Facebook and Twitter for even more updates and information.
