Early this week, a DTE crew out of Western Wayne Service Center spent the afternoon restoring power to The Manor of Farmington Hills, a nursing home that supports the elder residents of Farmington Hills. The crew ran new distribution lines to the home, as it was running on temporary generator power to make sure none of the residents who might have needed life-critical equipment were at risk.
You may be seeing more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are being done to improve your service and reliability for the short- and long-term.
