Someone will soon be moving into their newly constructed home in Westland, and they—as well others in the neighborhood near the corner of Newburgh and Greenwood—should be excited to learn that they’re also getting a new transformer. DTE crews installed a new transformer on the utility pole in front of the new construction earlier this week. This should provide reliable service for these residents and their soon-to-be neighbor for years to come.
You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short- and long-term.
