Earlier this week, one of our crews based in Southeast Michigan responded to a call at the Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery in Southfield, MI. The church had been having some problems with momentary outages. Upon arrival, our field team checked to make sure that all power lines feeding in and out of the church were transmitting power at the right amount of voltage. It’s critical that all buildings – churches, residences, schools, businesses, etc. – receive the proper level of voltage to maintain safe and reliable service.

You may be seeing more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are being done to improve your service and reliability for the short- and long-term.

Make sure to regularly check the Southfield community page to learn more about what’s going on in your neighborhood. You can also follow DTE’s Facebook and Twitter for even more updates and information.
