In addition to our extensive tree trimming efforts in the area, overheard crews were working in Highland Township this week just north of M-59. An old, weathered utility pole near the corner of Easton’s Trail and Wardlow was replaced with a sturdier one as well as a new transformer. In addition to the pole and transformer, our team also replaced the cross arms (from wooden to fiberglass), connectors and fuses. This work will strengthen the reliability of the system in the area to better withstand inclement weather when it comes.

You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short and long term.
