Beacon Park and Lumen Detroit have become a reliable destination for public events, private gatherings and seasonal programming in downtown Detroit. With its central location and flexible layout, the venue continues to attract organizers looking for a space that can accommodate both large crowds and intimate experiences.
Recent events have showcased the park’s versatility and connection to the local community. The “Pink in the Park” networking event drew regional professionals to Lumen, the venue’s two-story restaurant known for its city views, seasonal menu offerings and modern design. In early October, concerts featuring local and touring bands filled the lawn with music and energy, while large screens supported special programming, including community watch parties, interactive EV activations and cultural showcases featuring artists and pop-up social events.
Beacon Park is designed to function in all seasons. Its open lawn, seasonal installations, heated tents, customizable technology and proximity to transit options make it a world-class accessible and adaptable space. The venue is often used for pop-up markets, fitness classes, art displays and corporate activations.
The venue integrates sustainability into its design and daily operations. In 2024, the park recycled 1.43 tons of waste, maintained 41 trees that capture roughly 1,500 pounds of carbon dioxide annually and operated four bioswales to reduce stormwater runoff. Lumen Detroit is a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Silver Certified building with a 3,400-square-foot green roof that reduces surface runoff and retains water. It’s the premiere location for creating a greener future in the heart of Detroit while offering side dining and roof top views of the city.
Beacon Park will continue to host events through Winter 2025 while planning for the 2026 season. Those interested in renting the space or collaborating on unique activations are encouraged to visit and connect with us.
