West Bloomfield customers will be happy to know that DTE crews were recently at work in their community making reliability upgrades to the system. In a project stretching over several days, our overhead crews upgraded cross arms (from wooden to fiberglass), connectors and cabling on 12 utility poles that run along West Maple. The improved utility pole pictured below is at the corner of West Maple and Farmington. This work aims to strengthen the system and improve reliability for the thousands of customers along this main road.
You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short and long term.
