Overhead crews improved the service for Bloomfield Hills customers last week by replacing an old utility pole. The work was done in a customer’s backyard and will help energize about 20 homes in a neighborhood off of Quarton Rd. near the Birmingham and Bloomfield Hills border. This new pole will better withstand inclement weather, which should lead to fewer outages for the neighborhood.
You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short- and long-term.
