DTE and tree trimming crews were dispatched throughout Birmingham last week to improve your service. One job was on Fairway St. across the street from Lincoln Hills Golf course. Our team replaced an old, weathered utility pole with a sturdier one equipped with new connectors and fiberglass cross arms.
Our overhead crew also rerouted lines to run unobstructed through a path cleared out by tree trimmers above the fence line. New cabling and two new utility poles were put in for this service which will improve the reliability for everyone in the area.
You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short- and long-term.
