Our crews worked on getting a leaning utility pole back to normal position in the backyard of a home on the corner of Merriman Rd. and Pickford Ave. Tree branches became intertwined between power lines causing the pole to lean excessively. Before overhead crews could work, our tree trimming contractors had to clear the area of all tree debris. The pole’s cross arms became damaged from the leaning, which were replaced by our crews to make sure power lines stay well-supported. Electricity was briefly deenergized for workers to safely fix this problem and ensure reliable service continues for customers in the area.

You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short- and long-term.
