DTE crews have been visiting the Farmington area frequently. Last week they worked on Gill Road near Bridgeman Street, taking out old wiring and replacing it with new. Crews also took an existing overhead service line and switched it to a primary cable feeder that is underground. Underground equipment is reliable because it is harder for weather and wind to damage the equipment.
You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short- and long term.
