DTE crews worked to resolve an issue between two underground manholes at the intersection of Drake Road and West 12 Mile Road. Our workers discovered a failed cable and had to rebuild the joints to get it back to normal. Joints are like overhead lines but underground, and they are surrounded with insulation. The crew had to pull out the old cables and replace them with new ones. This update should help keep power flowing reliably for homes and businesses in the area.
