One of our splicer crews was in Downtown Detroit on Third Street and Michigan Avenue repairing a piece of underground equipment.
Our team shut down the circuit that runs this service, to make it safe for our crew. Customers who receive power from this circuit were transferred to another nearby circuit to avoid having to schedule an outage during maintenance.
You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short- and long-term.
