Our DTE crews have been working around the clock in the wake of a high wind storm last weekend, and one of those places is in Livonia at the corner of Farmington and 7 Mile. Saturday’s storm had blown a utility pole almost completely over into the parking lot of a Bigg Burg fast food restaurant. Our team had restored power to the area over the weekend and had returned to replace the damaged equipment with a new utility pole and transformer. The project was done by the end of the day Monday.
You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short- and long-term.
