Hello customers in the Bloomfield Hills and Birmingham areas. DTE had tree trimming crews throughout your community last week improving the electrical grid by trimming overgrown trees away from power lines. Work was done on main streets and in neighborhoods like the photos seen below. This particular job was cleared off a main line in the Quarton Lake Estates neighborhood. This work will improve the reliability of these lines when inclement weather strikes.
You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short- and long term.
