Tree trimmers and overhead crews were working together on Whitby Street to restore power to nearby homes. One of the poles’ transformers blew, causing several homes to lose power. Tree branches were interfering with power lines and were trimmed down beforehand so that overhead crews could work on the lines.
You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short- and long-term.
