Can you feel the love? Come celebrate Valentine’s Day at a Beacon Park Family Fun Day!
Themed activities include a film screening of Princess and the Frog, a tutorial on making tissue paper roses, and face painting. Families can make their own “hand cards,” featuring colorful heart-shaped hand-prints, to share with loved ones this season. Valentine’s Day candies will also be available. Calling all princes and princesses! Enjoy this family film, with the opportunity to create Prince and Princesses Crowns, Tiaras and Magic Wands decorating each with jewels, sparkle, features and ribbon.

Princess and the Frog: Hardworking and ambitious, Tiana (Anika Noni Rose) dreams of one day opening the finest restaurant in New Orleans. Her dream takes a slight detour when she meets Prince Naveen (Bruno Campos), who has been turned into an amphibian by evil Dr. Facilier. Mistaking her for a princess and hoping to break the spell, Naveen plants a kiss on poor Tiana — thereby turning her into a frog as well. The pair hop along on an adventure through the bayous to seek the help of a powerful voodoo priestess.
Food and drinks will be available from Lumen and various food trucks.
