Swing into the most magical time of year with this year’s holiday light installation – Swinging Bells at Beacon Park!
“Swinging Bells” is a new interactive light installation you simply cannot miss this holiday season at Beacon Park in Downtown Detroit. Throughout history, bells have been rung out across the world as a symbol of celebration and peace and have brought people together to commemorate important events. Artists Amigo & Amigo were inspired by this percussive instrument and created five larger-than-life Swinging Bells placed throughout Beacon Park. The public is invited to experience this interactive attraction and activate each bell’s unique song and colorful light display.
About the artists:Amigo and Amigo is a Sydney Australia-based artist studio with an extensive background in sculpture and Industrial Design. Passionate about lighting and experimental forms, their body of work showcases an ability to use light and materials to transform spaces and engage the public. Ever important to be playful, engaging, and inclusive.
