On Friday, Aug. 6, four-time Grammy Nominated R&B artist Lucky Daye will perform a free concert at Beacon Park sponsored by the DTE Beacon Park Foundation, the Downtown Detroit Partnership and the Detroit Auto Dealers Fund. Lucky’s explosive hit “Roll Some Mo” has over 30 million streams world-wide and his 2019 album “Painted” received critical nods from Rolling Stone and Billboard, among others. He has performed on NPR’s Tiny Desk, the 2019 BET Awards and opened for mega-star Khalid on tour.
The show begins with DJs and openers Friday, Aug. 6 at 6:30 p.m. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from Lumen Detroit and local food trucks.
