Feb. 17 is National Random Acts of Kindness Day! Here are some great ways for you to give back and be kind:
Good Deeds Detroit’s mission is to encourage, motivate and strengthen the success rate of individuals and families in need by providing housing and job connections, as well as food and clothing to the community.
How to give:

Samaritas is the state’s largest foster care and adoption organization with a full suite of family preservation programs, as well as being one of the largest providers of refugee services, resettling families from all over the world.

Recycle Here! Drop-off Facility
Recycle Here! is a recycling facility offered by the City of Detroit and free to all Detroit residents, located at 5960 Lincoln St., Detroit.
How to give:
- Be kind to the planet by picking up trash and recycling at Recycle Here! Staff members will help you sort materials into the correct bin – all for the good of the planet.

Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA)
The DIA strives to be the town square of our community, a gathering place for everybody and to create experiences that help each visitor find personal meaning with the art, individually, and with each other.
