DTE dispatched crews to the Farmington area this week to improve reliability for customers. This underground contract crew (pictured below) worked at the Windermere neighborhood near the corner of Halsted and Grand River. Our team replaced five underground primary feed lines to transformers. In addition to these buried lines, the cable pole that feeds these underground transformers was upgraded with new cabling. This work serves the many valued DTE customers that call this area home with a stronger grid for years to come.
