Visitors can get into all 13 Metroparks for FREE, courtesy of DTE Energy, for the next three weekends:

  • Friday, Aug. 20 – Sunday, Aug. 22
  • Friday, Aug. 27 – Sunday, Aug. 29
  • Friday, Sept. 3 – Monday, Sept. 6 (Labor Day)

These weekends will promote quality time with friends and loved ones in a safe, outdoor environment. Patrons do not need to register for free admission.

As one of Southeast Michigan’s special treasures, the Metroparks system includes 13 distinctive park settings of nearly 25,000 acres that provide access to the beauty of nature, diverse outdoor recreational opportunities, and vast educational resources year-round for all those who live, work and play in and around Livingston, Macomb, Oakland, Washtenaw, and Wayne counties.

Visitors can browse programs to enjoy, while visiting the parks and register here. The daily park pass is covered, however program registrations, equipment rentals and pay-to-use facilities such as golf courses, boat rentals, pools, etc. will be an additional charge. Safety: While Metropark employees will be required to wear masks, patrons do not have to be masked.
