The Detroit Cycling Championship has a philanthropic aspect in the DAC Foundation\, referencing Kids IN Detroit\, Bike Giveaway to donate new bikes to children in the city of Detroit.  \nDAC Foundation and Kids IN Detroit\, in conjunction with the Detroit Cycling Championship\, are donating 132 new bikes to kids in the FitKids360 Program. The program takes kids through a seven-week healthy lifestyle program for children ages 5 to 17 and their parents or support partners. DESCRIPTION:Don’t miss the FREE production of Rocky Horror Picture Show Shadow Cast under the tent at Beacon Park! Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show will begin at 8 p.m. sharp. Seating is limited so be sure to come early to snag your spot before the show begins.  \nThis show\, by the Detroit Actor’s Theater Company\, has been named “the best in town” by the Rocky Horror Picture Show Preservation Society (Michigan Chapter). \nYou will get a Rocky Horror Goody Bag to participate in the show along with the cast\, while supplies last!  \nWhat is a Shadow cast? This tradition actually seems to have originated with the ever dedicated fans of The Rocky Horror Picture Show! A shadow cast is an ensemble of artists that act out the movie while it is playing; often times dancing and singing live. They also serve as the catalysts for the audience cues to participate in callbacks and use their props.  \nWe will have food trucks\, Lumen Detroit bar\, and popcorn available for purchase.
