This community-centric video and light event honors the courage Detroiters have shown and acknowledges the losses we have suffered in facing the two pandemics of COVID-19 and racial injustice. The face of the Grand Army of the Republic Building directly across the street from Beacon Park\, will be covered completely with a moving video light show. The video will loop throughout each night of the event from just after sunset to Midnight. It is comprised of locally gathered images and video as well as massive scale custom-designed graphics and animations. \nIn order to safely accommodate visitors\, we will offer multiple showings each evening. Online registration is required and attendance is limited.
