Almost one year ago, DTE announced one of the first and most aggressive initiatives in the energy industry – reducing carbon emissions by 80 percent. To achieve this goal while maintaining reliable and affordable energy for our customers, DTE is substantially increasing use of renewable energy and lower-emissions natural gas and improving programs to encourage customers to reduce their energy use.
